Troy ... Wrath For Love
CHAPTERS
SYNOPSIS
After several years of being hidden in a ranch, Patricia Cruz returns for the first time to the ¨Orinoco¨ extensive plains of Puerto Dorado. She walks the streets crowded with people, amid the celebrations of the popular fairs. She seems tense but at the same time, determined to face what may come. Perhaps, the miserable who raped her may be hidden among these people… the one that killed her husband and then shot her, believing she was dead. But Patricia is no longer the same one from that terrible night. Now she is a fierce cowgirl, able to bring a calf down by herself and able to ride a horse with extraordinary skill. The naive young woman who arrived Puerto Dorado two years before to marry Humberto, is in the past. Humberto, a humble farmer who made only one mistake: to oppose Antonio De La Torre’s will, the biggest cattle dealer in the region; a multimillionaire, owner of the Hacienda La Dorada, owner and master of Puerto Dorado. Antonio claimed with blood Humberto’s offense, the only farmer who did not want to sell him his land to build a modern cold storage plant. The very same night of the wedding, when Patricia and Humberto were going to consummate their marriage, Antonio came with his hooded thugs to pressure Humberto to sign the housetitles, and due to this negative response, Antonio himself raped Patricia who could not see his face because of his hood, but she did see a jewel in the shape of a knight of a chess game, which hung from her rapist’s neck. Then Antonio shot Humberto and Patricia, and ordered his men to throw their bodies into the river. Patricia was rescued by Pierre, the French guy who is the owner of a popular bar next to the river. He took care of her and saved her with the help of Jacinta. Barely recovered and moved by a desire of revenge, Patricia returned to her land to find out who had committed such an atrocity. But Antonio had already manipulated the Notary and other authorities of the town, and Patricia only just could find out very little. Without family and without having anywhere to go, Patricia is taken under Jacinta’s wing at her ranch. Pierre suggests Patricia to remain hidden, so that the murderers do not see her and would not be able to finish their job. Patricia begins her training in the ranch work with help of her new friends, doing that, she will become the great cowgirl and horseback rider she now is. Although she has changed on the outside quite a lot, on the inside she still cultivates her idea of revenge, which she repeats and reasures every night in front of the her late husband’s tomb. What Patricia does not know is that destiny has an incredible turn stored for her, the very same day she returns to town, to confront the situation. Amid the rodeo competitions and horse racing, she gets to know Sebastian, a young impetuous, competitive chap, who has just arrived from the capital and has just completed his career in Economics. The physical attraction is mutual. But at the same time their strong temper, clash and start a competitive relationship with conflict and challenges. Between a reluctant Patricia, fearful of men and love; and a competitive Sebastian, enchanted by that woman’s beauty and war like drive, quite different from Nena, his fiancée, the one his planning to get married to, in a few weeks. Neither Patricia nor Sebastián, suspect that this newfounded relationship embodies the source of all their ills and aches, being Sebastian the only and worshiped son of Antonio De La Torre, Patricia’s rapist.
