The friendship that arises between them will completely transform their lives. He incredulously receives the disinterested solidarity from Rosario, a scarce emotion to the world of wealth where his life has taken place. Thanks to her, he manages to survive as a singer in the bar Plaza Garibaldi, while he eludes the jealous pursuit of the INTERPOL and of both the Colombian and Mexican police. Rosario discovers love thanks to Emiliano. Through him she begins to start fitting into her mind and soul the free pieces of what has been her life. The happiest and most painful moments of Rosario's life are related to the recollection of her father’s memories. Her father was a singer of rancheras, bohemian and passionate, an intimate man who risked his life and filled his family with sorrow when he lost his to liquor and women. In an effort driven to despair trying to erase the recollection of a turbulent childhood, Rosario fights to become a professional in Business. In spite of the sadness, the image of her father is tied to happiness and passion, because of this; she keeps as a special souvenir and relic her father’s mariachi costume. A garment without owner, a pain that alone vanishes when Rosario, without pretending to do so, falls in love with Emiliano and lends him this costume so that he may use it to sing at the bar Plaza Garibaldi. Emiliano Sanchez Gallardo, member of one of the most powerful families of Mexico, never imagined that he would end up as a singer at a medium category, Mexican music bar, in the Colombian capital of Bogota. He believed that his legal situation in Mexico would be solved in a few weeks, and because of this he never tells the truth to Rosario. But the mess is really a big one: he is being charged of a grand money laundering deal, all which has been set up by his partners. To the uncertainty of trying to be someone else and to the distress that produces him the collapse of his family and of his life, he must add what little control he has over his own feelings: his love for Rosario grows in an outrageous manner. In addition to this, he must stand the fierce opposition of his rivals: that of arrogant and dangerous “Colossus Jalisco ", Rosario’s former talent companion and that of Javier Macias, a prestigious lawyer who is madly in love with our ranchera singer. The excessive caution and Emiliano's lack of clarity, turn into his own ruin. Virginia, daughter of the owner of the Plaza Garibaldi, who wants Emiliano with the same fury with which she detests Rosario, constructs a pun by means of which she manages to separate them. Emiliano left by Rosario and expelled from the bar, suffers the most painful side of Bogotá’s night life, but at the same time, acknowledges the solidarity of his singing partners. The misunderstanding is cleared and the lovers reunite, but right on this moment the police capture Emiliano and deport him immediately to his country. Rosario follows him to Mexico to join him and give him her support. Finally, Emiliano and Rosario will show how it is worth being together when you really and truly want it indeed.
