Mafia´s Widow
CHAPTERS
SYNOPSIS
Diana Martín’s enthralling adventure, together with her husband, ‘Capi’ Montes and their two children, turns into a nightmare when the beautiful former flight attendant discovers that her husband has taken her to the jungle, fleeing from the siege of the authorities. She, who enjoyed a pleasant life, who considered she was a woman privileged by destiny, suddenly finds herself in the midst of a relentless persecution by land and air, since her husband is accused internationally as subject to extradition and the authorities are after him to face up to the charges of drug trafficking. But he is determined that he will not be taken out of the country alive. Overnight, and without knowing how, Diana Martín has become The widow of the mafia. A terrified woman who cannot even fathom the idea that ‘El Capi’ was wanted for being a key pilot at the service of the mafia. A woman that is charged with being the nucleus of a complete mafia organization, behind whom an enormous fortune is concealed. That, at least is what Camilo Pulido believes, the best detective in the Judicial Police Division, who has lost his brother-in-law and companion in the jungle. Camilo Pulido has every possible reason to want to go after the woman. The fact is that Camilo knows Diana Martín more than anybody. He has been observing her from afar, identifying her routines, her gestures, her movements, her bank accounts. He has no doubt that she is the typical mafia woman: young, beautiful, indulgent, rich, living a good life with little or no scruples and without pending issues with justice. Fortunately for Camilo, neither the district attorney’s office nor the judicial police are willing to leave Diana Montes in peace, and they bring together an elite group of investigators that are assigned solely to Operation Black Widow. Their mission is to infiltrate a detective in ‘Capi’ Montes’ family and unmask the widow. Camilo’s first challenge is to be part of that elite group, and the second is to leave no stone unturned to have the ‘privilege’ of putting Diana Montes behind bars. Everything is perfectly clear… apparently. Because from the moment that Camilo starts working as an escort for Diana, everything becomes confusing. She no longer seems to be guilty, she is no longer the stereotype, she even seems to be innocent. Camilo Pulido’s obsession goes beyond professional interest, but behind her, behind the real fortune and the business dealings, is the true mastermind of The Family: Aníbal Montes. The widow of the mafia, a love story between two who are on opposite sides of justice.
