Cristóbal Errázuriz is Iván

Iván Vallejo is Sebastián’s cousin. They were raised as brothers. He studied Economy and International Trade in a school in London, and lived there sharing an apartment with Sebastián. But, at the death of their grandfather, he understood that the family had been divided and that each one must take his own road. Iván has inherited from both his father, Francisco Vallejo, and from his grandfather, an instinct and the ability for running the business. From the moment his grandfather Octavio dies, he is waiting for the opportunity to run Cafexport, the family’s coffee exporting business, and waiting to apply his own theories on the coffee business. He has his own morale, not only in the world of the business, but also for love. He feels impeded to love only one woman.

Alejandra Borrero is Lucía

The Vallejo’s believe to have found Sebastian’s salvation in her. Lucia seems to be a woman custom-made for Sebastian’s problems. She lacks passion, some even describe her as ice cold, sex is not in her list of priorities, and she is gifted with an infinite patience to achieve what wants. Before meeting Sebastián, Lucia was certain she could live her life without having sex. She was very far from really knowing herself.

Constanza Duque is Carmenza

She is Gaviota’s mother. From an early age she lost her family and what little they had. Since then she has traveled along coffee farms becoming a coffee picker; one of the best! One of the places mostly frequented by her was the Hacienda of Octavio Vallejo, The Hacienda “Casablanca”. The owner became fond of her and since then he ordered that every October during the harvest she was always to have work in his hacienda. In this way, Carmenza has always had a fixed place to return to: every October to The Hacienda “Casablanca”. This was a tradition that survived even through her pregnancy of Gaviota. The girl became used to, just like her mother, that every October, they had an unconditional appointment in the Hacienda of the Vallejo’s, though she never questioned as to why the old man was so special towards them. Carmenza taught her daughter to protect herself from men, and to keep herself for only one man. Her philosophy corresponded not to her way of life, but also in part, to what learned from watching soap operas in all the plantations where she worked, and those which she followed with certain vehemence, because for her, if there is something of great importance in her life, besides her daughter, are the soap operas.

Gaviota

Gaviota is a coffee picker who works on the Coffee harvests every season. She is the kind of woman everyone wants. With an overdeveloped protection instinct, we could say she is strong, she doesn´t let others trick her, she is distrusting and proud. Rumors say that she is still a virgin. What very few know is that her most developed ability is to dream, because deep down, beyond the tough coffee picker girl, Gaviota is a dreamer.
