‘Allá te espero’, the telenovela that captured the Colombian television audiences and that obtained the best ratings with its story, telling the drama that immigrants who move from Colombia to other countries searching for better job and economic opportunities, as well as the ones who arrive at our country to achieve their dreams and goals, was unbeatable taking home the statuettes in the two most important award ceremonies that take place in Colombia every year: TVyNovelas Awards and India Catalina Awards 2014, in which the best productions of Colombia compete. This telenovela was the great winner of the night in the TVyNovelas 2014, which took place on March 29th and the readers chose it, through their votes, as their favorite telenovela; it won 10 awards in the following categories: best telenovela, favorite telenovela main actor (Sebastian Martinez); favorite telenovela main actress (Monica Gomez); favorite telenovela or series director (Herney Luna and Cesar Ibagon); favorite screen writer (Adriana Suarez, Javier Giraldo and Pedro Rozo); favorite soundrack; favorite supporting actor (Carlos Benjumea); favorite supporting actress (Ana Maria Estupiñan); favorite female villain (Andrea Guzman) and favorite male villain (Elkin Diaz), which, without a doubt, positions this telenovela as one of the best in Colombian television. Additionally, the production obtained 9 statuettes on the 30th version of the India Catalina Awards, which took place on March 15th in Cartagena in the following categories: best telenovela, best director (Herney Luna and Cesar Ibagon), best story and original script (Adriana Suarez, Pedro Miguel Rozo and Javier Giraldo), best main actress (Monica Gomez), best supporting actress (Valentina Rendon), best soundtrack, best photography, best edition and best art in a telenovela. IN order to tell this story as faithful to reality as possible, part of it was filmed in emblematic places of New York City, including Fifth Avenue, Madison Square Garden, the Statue of Liberty and the Empire state. Also, some of the most beautiful and colorful landscapes of Colombia were chosen around the Coffee Region such as Santa Rosa de Osos, Quimbaya, Filandia, Salento and Pereira. Alla Te Espero has been sold in countries like Ecuador, the United States, Guatemala, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Peru, Honduras, Chile, Nicaragua, Bolivia, Paraguay, El Salvador and Panama. It was written by Adriana Suarez (El Ultimo Matrimonio Feliz) and Javier Giraldo, directed by Herney Luna (El Joe la Leyenda, Pura Sangre) and Cesar Ibagon, and it stars the Colombian actress Monica Gomez and the American actor Keller Wortham. The rest of the cast includes outstanding figures of Colombian television: Sebastian Martinez, Alejandra Borrero, Carlos Benjumea, Valentina Rendon, Andrea Guzman, Ana Maria Estupiñan, Lincoln Palomeque, Ana Wills, Diego Leon Hoyos, Ivan Lopez, Carlos Camacho, Elkin Diaz, Carmenza Gomez, Patrick Delmas, Cristina Campuzano and Carlos Manuel Vesga, among others.
