RCN Television was the great winner of the night at the TVyNovelas Awards. ‘ALLA TE ESPERO’ was the triumphant production.

With 10 awards, Alla Te Espero, the telenovela of RCN, became the most awarded production of the night during the most important ceremony for Colombian television: the TVyNovelas Awards. Through their votes, the magazine´s readers, acknowledged the work of screen writers, casts, directors and the production team, who not only received the award as the best telenovela, but also stepped on the stage in nine other opportunities to receive a statuette, among them, the award for Sebastian Martinez, as the Favorite telenovela main actor; Monica Gomez, as the Favorite telenovela main actress; Herney Luna and Cesar Ibagon as Favorite telenovela or series director; Adriana Suarez, Javier Giraldo and Pedro Rozo, as Favorite screenwriter; Favorite soundtrack; additionally, Carlos Benjumea received the award for Favorite supporting actor and Ana Maria Estupiñan was acknowledged as the Favorite supporting actress. On the other hand, Andrea Guzman and Elkin Diaz, were chosen as the Favorite villains, completing 10 statuettes for this production that, without a doubt, occupied a very special place in the memory of Colombian viewers. In the category of series, the awards were given to the actors Julieth Restrepo and Roberto Cano, from Comando Elite, acknowledged as Favorite supporting actors. In the meantime, the Variety, News and Opinion Shows, the great winner was Guillermo Prieto, also known as Pirry and his space ´Especiales Pirry´. Besides receiving the award for Favorite News Anchor, his show was chosen as the favorite opinion and/news show of the Colombian viewers. Also, Cristina Hurtado, host of RCN Entertainment, received the support of the audiences, which gave the woman from Antioquia the award as Favorite Entertainment Host. Finally, Andrea Serna is confirmed once again as the Favorite Varieties Host, receiving the award for her work in the recent versions of Protagonistas de Nuestra Tele. Thanks to the votes of Colombian viewers, the productions of RCN Television received a total of 15 statuettes in the TVyNovelas Awards gala, where a tribute to actress Vicky Hernandez was made in honor of her path through Colombian television.
