CORREO DE INOCENTES’ (TRAFFIC WITH THE INNOCENT), THE DRAMA OF THE VICTIMS OF AN ILLEGAL BUSINESS

Margarita Rosa de Francisco returns to RCN Television ‘CORREO DE INOCENTES’ (Traffic With The Innocent) arrives to RCN Television, a super production in which the intrigue, the suspense, the deceit, the tension, and the drama will be the main ingredients of this succulent televised banquet that takes on the tough world of human mules. Directed by Klych López, a young documentalist, movie director, and script writer from Cali, and scripts by Ana María Londoño and Rafael Noguera, ‘CORREO DE INOCENTES’ (Traffic With The Innocent), will show for the first time on the screens of Colombian television the story of human mules, one of the most vulnerable groups in the world of drug trafficking known as ‘mules’, people that for multiple reasons end up involved in other people’s business, that leads them to pay long condemns in national and foreign jails, away from their families, without the protection of the state, and in many occasions, without the real culprits of these crimes being discovered. This super production marks the return to RCN Television of Margarita Rosa de Francisco, one of the most remembered and loved actresses of Colombia because of her masterly performance on soap operas like ‘Café con Aroma de Mujer’(coffe with scent of a woman) and ‘La Madre’ (Mother). This actress plays Pilar Carrasco, an accountant by profession that faces a dramatic moment when she has to make a decision in a business that will forever change her life. De Francisco, along with the Peruvian actor Salvador del Solar, aspire to become one of the most loved couples of television. The performance of Colombian Roberto Urbina, who has participated in international series like ‘Héroes’ and ‘Grey´s Anatomy,’ also stands out. To these three talented actors, a cast of national and international figures adds on, among them: Laura García, Cristina Campuzano, Ricardo Leguízamo, Victoria Góngora, Hernán Méndez, Juana Arboleda, Victoria Hernández, Héctor García, Juan Carlos Messier, Ana María Sánchez, Alejandra Miranda, Andrés Salgado, Luis Carlos Fuquen, Patricio Wood, Juan Cely, Viña Machado, Norma Nivia, Cristina González, and the special participation of Carmen Madrid, a recognized Mexican actress, among others. Designed in movie format for television, this series was taped with two high definition cameras, movie lens, and the mechanical aids most used in the last years in world-wide cinematography, among them: steady cam (equipment that allows to take the camera to the body), hot heads, and hydraulic dolly. Wireless lights and monitors were also used. The series was taped in locations such as Bogotá, Cali, Tolima, and city of Tumaco (Nariño).
