RCN Television will take a varied and innovative portfolio of telenovelas and series to Natpe Budapest from June 26th to the 28th, at the Hotel Sofitel Chain Bridge Suite 112 one of the most important television markets in which once again RCN – Television - will leave a mark with some of its best productions. Some of the titles that the RCN team will be presenting are: Pobres Rico (From riches to rags), Historias Clasificadas (Classified Ad Stories), Amo de Casa (House “Man”), Allá te espero (Wait for me!), Corazones blindados (Armored Hearts), Doctor Mata and Casa de Reinas (House of Queens). During three days, buyers and exhibitors from all around the world will be able to enjoy this diverse television menu. “It is very important for RCN to be a part of this market based on the interest that the European market has shown for years on our productions, we are taking to Natpe our most successful telenovelas and series which we are sure will be very attractive for the buyers because they are universal stories that can be adapted to any culture. POBRES RICO (From riches to rags):120x60 Est To start the portfolio, we present the super production Pobres Rico, a telenovela with shades of comedy, directed by the renowned director Pepe Sanchez, with scripts written by Juan Manuel Caceres, Hector Alejandro Moncada and Juan Carlos Troncoso. This super production has the participation of Paola Rey and Juan Pablo Raba playing the main characters, as well as a first class cast with important figures of the colombian television. Pobres Rico, tells the entertaining story of the Rico and the Siachoque families, whose lives will cross paths and they will understand that money isn´t what makes you happy, but love, solidarity and union are. That there´s no point in attaching to material goods or luxuries, when you can enjoy life with everything that comes with it: the good and the bad. After all, Rich is not who has more is who needs less. HISTORIAS CLASIFICADAS (Classified Ad Stories): 60x60 “Classified Ad Stories” a fiction series that reveals the diverse drama that happen to common people who have been obligated to place an ad on the newspaper to solve their economical, sentimental, work or family problems, told with humor and charm. These entertaining stories are directed by William Barragan and Ricardo Gonzalez and the participation of national and foreign actors such as Juan Pablo Gamboa, Alejandro Buenaventura, Yaneth Waldman, Juan Carlos Messier, Luigi Aicardi, Dora Cadavid, Natalia Ramirez, Carolina Sabino, Rita Bendek, Pedro Pallares, Rene Farrait, Jessica Cediel and Maluma.
AMO DE CASA (House “Man”): 120x60 This spectacular series starring the cuban actor Rolando Tarajano, who plays a man who after working for many years at a bank, expects a promotion, but due to life´s circumstances he ends up facing the chores at home. This great story is directed by Ramiro Meneses and Diego Mejia, and is written by Guido Jacome, Felipe Forero and Diana Gomez. Amo de Casa, has a renowned cast that includes: Katherine Velez, Marcelo Dos Santos, Margarita Ortega and Julio César Herrera among others. Francisco suffers the biggest change of his life, expecting a promotion at the bank he ends up with no job at all; now he´s full of doubts and full of problems back at home. He changed from being the bank executive to the househusband, working at a neighborhood small store and divorcing his wife. But life smiles at him: he finds love with his neighbor and her complete support in all the difficult moments. ALLÁ TE ESPERO (Wait for me!): 120x60 Est A super production directed by Herney Luna and Cesar Ibagon, written by Adriana Suarez and Javier Giraldo and starring Monica Gomez, Sebastian Martinez, Alejandra Borrero and Carlos Benjumea among others. This great super production has an important cast of actors that includes: Enrique Carriazo, Geraldine Zivic, Nicolas Rincon, Yuri Vargas and Luis Fernando Hoyos, among others. Dr. Mata tells the story of Merceditas Ramos, the humble maid of the sexagenarian Alfredo Ferro Villegas, neighbor of the Perseverancia neighborhood, who dares to accuse the famous doctor Matallana for the disappearance of her boss. Detective Benito Capote, at the service of the Criminal Instruction Court and Felix Gonzalez Robledo, a chronicle writer, absolutely believe her.
