Chepe Fortuna is a love story that unfolds through it characters who are native from the coast, filled with Colombian notions, lots of humor and the magical realism that portrays this area Our coast, as Gabriel García Márquez said once, is maybe one of the few places in the world where the absurd can happen. That is what we wanted to show with Chepe Fortuna, how this regions curiosities can become magical for the rest of the world, so it says Miguel Ángel Baquero along with Eloisa Infante, who are the creators of the story, screenplay writers and producers of the show. This huge production was filmed in high definition and made for the entire family to watch, it tells the story of Chepe Fortuna and Niña Cabrales, a young man and a woman that despite coming from different social classes fall in love even before they met, because they had seen each other on their dreams. When people can feel identified, when they see their selves reflected with affection, humor and drama, incredible magic happens. I have great hope that this soap opera will recover a little of what television essence should be, not only soap opera genre, TV must always be based on idiosyncrasy, says director Mario Ribero.
