Unfaithful Anonymous

SYNOPSIS

Manuela, the director and owner of the Unfaithful Anonymous Clinic (UAC) is close to making a critical and difficult decision: her last patient has decided to quit his treatment to stop being unfaithful and due to this, she is seriously thinking of closing UAC’s doors. Her patient has left giving up on his process and gone to Agency of Alibis (AA), which is in a completely different business situation: business is flying and thousand of unfaithful are searching for their services. Daniel Roldan, owner of this agency is very happy about this situation. Daniel ignores that he himself is a victim of all the activities he personally promotes until the day he finds his wife in bed with another man. In spite of having two children this is not enough to keep Daniel focused and he unsuccessfully tries to take his life. In this moment he is taken to the ER of a local clinic: Unfaithful Anonymous … his direct competitor. When he realizes where he is at it is already too late; he has fallen madly in love with Manuela, his treating psychologist. He fully opens telling her his life of constant mistakes and promiscuity promising her to change in all this since he has decided to completely dedicate his life to her. The irony of all this; well, for the first time in his life, he is actually telling the truth! From now on in his life, Daniel will have eyes, feelings or thoughts only for her. Daniel’s first obstacle to keeping his promise is Manuela herself. She, a victim of deceit, and disappointments, has long decided never to love again. Manuela admits not being completely indifferent towards Daniel, but for ethical and professional reasons she firmly denies any possibility with him. Nevertheless, the amazing uprightness and honesty with which Daniel opens to her on his past and heart will awaken in her feelings that have been dormant and forgotten for long. The situation over at Unfaithful Anonymous Clinic is a critical one; their very few patients are choosing to leave their treatments. UAC’s high rate of desertion is inversely Agency of Alibis – AA’s high rate of new patients. Manuela, tired of this situation, decides to face AA’s owners only to find herself not pleasantly surprised: Daniel, the man who fell in love with her and who has made her emotions stir again is also a patient there. Daniel uses his charm and wit to get out of this situation harmless; he tells Manuela that he has knocked on AA’s door in search for assistance that may guide him to better win her heart. Daniel’s and Manuela’s battle is official; he must tear down her walls and win her heart while she has to discover who is the man which is ending with her professional life running her out of business via Agency of Alibis – AA. What will happen when Manuela finds out that Daniel is that man?
