He´s a hitman working for Pacifico Blanco´s men who operate in Colombia. Just like Bruna, he decides to switch bands and serve El Capo with his loyalty because he admires him, almost idolizes him. He´s Mariale´s brother and Elvia´s son. His nickname Burro (Donkey) came from his apparent lack of intelligence, although he knows to write and how to solve his problems in a practical way or by shooting his gun. Among other tasks, he´s going to have to kidnap the National Aviation Director´s father, forcing him to facilitate things for El Capo to move freely in American territory.

El Capo´s most trusted man. Since the beginning, he has shown his loyalty, integrity and courage to Pedro Pablo. He had a tough childhood, with an abusive father who beat him until he was unconscious and then he would lock him in a small and dark basement for long hours. This upbringing marked his character forever; Tato is capable of resisting the cruelest punishments and tortures; the only thing he can´t overcome: his terrible fear to confinement (claustrophobic). In the second season, he will follow his boss and friend, being by El Capo´s side throughout his whole adventure.

El Capo´s wife. She loves him deeply, she met El Capo when they were still kids and has stayed by his side for love. She´s naive and the love she feels for her husband keeps her from seeing the reality of things. However, she´s a woman with a strong character, willing to face anything for her family. She comes from a humble upbringing but had more amenities than El Capo did when he was a child. At the beginning of this second part she will be unfairly extradited and will live the drama of this kind of confinement with her daughter. In the middle of this odyssey, she will find love again in the arms of another man and not realizing it, she will end up immerse in the war between El Capo and a ruthless Mexican drug lord.

She´s Burro´s sister. She´s a beautiful, sweet, delicate woman with a big heart, who will plant her gaze and goodness in Pedro Pablo´s heart, to the point where he openly falls in love with her. She works as a nurse at a nursing home called San Rafael and she will be involved in El Capo´s plans when he uses her and the elderly residents she takes care of, as the perfect facade to escape from the capital on his way to El Paso, close to the Colombian coastline. At first, Mariale doesn´t agree with any of this, but she will have to face the decision of loving a man who openly confessed to her that his heart may love her and others as well, including Isabel Cristina, Marcela, Perrys – although she´s in hell – and Bruna. Decided to help Pedro in his plans, she will find herself involved in the riskiest adventures where she will have to breathe fear in every situation; she will have to seduce the police commander of the town where a good part of the story happens during the construction of the submarine, in order to take care of the intelligence for El Capo and transmitting news of the police force´s operations in the area and in the country.

She´s an attractive and dangerous woman, trained in the art of killing. At the beginning of the story she works for the Mexican drug trafficker Pacifico Blanco, with the mission of keeping an eye of Pedro Pablo and the money that the Mexican drug lord has given him to pressure him to stay in the business. However, destiny turns (Her family gets murdered by Blanco for switching bands) and will determine her actions during the rest of the story, since now there´s only one thing on her mind: revenge. She will become one of Pedro Pablo´s new women, starting an obvious rivalry with any other woman who fights for El Capo´s heart. She has no limits, she´s bold and she doesn´t know the meaning of the word fear.

He´s a 48 year old man, smart, astute, shrewd, cold and a total Don Juan. Capable of hating or loving with intensity, he doesn´t know a middle point. A very humble man, born in a low income family home. His father died when he was 16, so his mother raised him and his 9 brothers and sisters alone. He gets involved in crime trying to help his family live in better conditions. He starts by carrying out small thefts but as time passes by he gets involved in the drug trafficking business. His great intelligence allowed him to hide his true identity, keeping a low profile for many years, lying to his family who never really got to know the great wealth that El Capo was able to save. In the second season, El Capo will begin his boldest adventure: getting inside the United States by cheating the most relentless security in the world. In order to do so, he will build a submarine that will take him to learn that the love of his life doesn´t love him anymore. As if this weren´t enough, Pedro Pablo will submerge in the bloody world of gangs and will end up declaring war to the most powerful drug trafficker of Mexico. Willing to do anything to achieve his goals, El Capo will join forces with his most fierce pursuer, finally approaching his rendition.
