SYNOPSIS
Juan is an accountant who for the last 10 years has worked at Etichetta Due, thanks to Daniela who was his girlfriend at the time and worked as a secretary for Osvaldo, the owner of the company. Because of his weak character and for being naive, Juan has always been the office´s laughingstock. His only friend there was Eduardo until the day Juan found him having sex with Daniela (the mother of his two children). Because of this unfortunate incident, Juan moves out to a small apartment and there decided it was best not to throw away his job as not to lose his seniority due to the fact of his expenses and lack of savings, between the rent of the new apartment and financially supporting his kids and parents, he didn’t have a lot of options. So he convinced himself of going to the office every day like he always had, accepting the fact of having to see his ex-wife and former friend together, and also his disrespectful coworkers. One afternoon when Juan had just realized that he was feeling miserable, he left work to roam the city streets and while he was snooping around a bookstore found a book that caught his attention. It was the last copy of “MANUAL TO BE HAPPY, 50 infallible recipes to achieve happiness”. Inside it there were hundreds of recipes, practical rules, exercises, advice, premises, and guidelines. Juan couldn’t take the intrigue that maybe magically the reading of the book could change his reality and so he bought it. Week after week, Juan will read and put into practice each one of the chapters of the book and watching the chaotic consequences it has in his life, but that will also lead him to a self-valuation path and to find true love, because in his office there is a woman that even though she does not work there, she has a more important place than even the Company owner himself: Luisa Sanz, a young woman that owns one of the most important clothing companies in the country. Osvaldo (the boss) is smitten with Luisa, and deeply in love with her bank account and he wants to make her his wife. Obviously, Luisa doesn’t even notice Juan´s existence. She has never looked at him and she doesn’t even know what position he has in the Company. But little by little, through his successive changes and the situations derived from his clumsiness that often jeopardize the permanence of Luisa as client of the Company, all those details will make her start to notice him and start to have an interest in him. She will find that he has common sense; he is easy going, he is an honest man and true love for her. Juan will find in Luisa a mirror that shows him a better self-image that gives him self-confidence and who encourages to be a better person and thanks to the love they feel for each other, he will start to be closer to happiness.

He is a completely miserable man. He is the object of mockery in his place of work, ignored by his own wife, tyrannized by his boss, Juan got used to these circumstances as part of his every day routine and lives a submissive life like a loser and never complain for all the bitter drinks of his sad life. It was in University, while studying economic sciences he met Daniela, his first and only girlfriend. With time, after they were already married Daniela´s goals start to clash with Juan´s submissive life since he never aspired to more than having a happy family and living a calm quiet life without surprises like the one he managed to build once he started to work as an accountant in Etichetta Due.
She is a young and beautiful woman with lots of talent, sensibility, sweetness which she tries to hide to succeed in a tough business world. She must be cold, rational, elegant and refined, imposing distance with her mere presence. Intelligent and intuitive, her work skills and her unique way to see things, made the modest company she inherited from her father, start to grow and become one of the most prestigious high fashion companies in the country, where she is the designer. Luisa will recover her most authentic part and will let herself be guided by the trust that Juan inspires her. Little by little Juan will get to see an intimate side of Luisa that no one sees; warm, humble, fragile, and she will share some of her secrets with him. They will discover together the things they have in common.
The owner of Etichetta Due, Osvaldo is a worldly man, handsome and charming that hides perfectly his occult vice: a terrible addiction for gambling he has had since his teenage years and that puts him in the brink of bankruptcy. He doesn’t accept under any circumstance that his problem is an addiction and shows himself to the world as a confident man in control of his success. Since he was younger has been in love with Luisa Sanz and with a family history in common, he dreams of marrying her not only because of who she is but also for what she represents now as a “fashion queen”. The solid company she has contrasts with his own company´s instability even though Osvaldo juggles things every day to maintain a balance and keep people from finding out or suspecting the truth.
She is practically a model: one meter and 70 centimeters tall, long legs, captivating stare, silky skin, plenty of long hair and a gorgeous smile. Her only defect is that she knows it and she relies on her looks to be her ticket to fortune. Her only interest is to marry Osvaldo, which is why she hates Luisa and every time Luisa arrives at the office she does everything she can to turn her visit into a disaster. She is Daniela´s friend and confident.
Anibal is also an administrative employee. He is more cautious, but he is Lucho´s unconditional friend and the one that seconds him on all of his bad taste jokes. They share everything except the love for the same soccer team, since Anibal is a fan of “Boca Juniors” which can become a problem because they can spend days without talking to each other due to soccer fights and almost at war amongst themselves. Same as Lucho, Anibal will be able to do anything to have something with Monica Parra the cutest woman in the office.
He is in charge of purchases department. One of the company’s jokesters. He has no limits and doesn’t know the concept of bad taste. Anything is a reason to joke for him. And Juan is his favorite target. He will take some distance when Juan sets a limit to Lucho´s jokes and seek other allies. He is single, lives with his mother and four sisters that make his life pretty difficult.
Know by all as Euge, she is the receptionist, call center and all chores manager of Etichetta Due. A gossip girl by nature she knows everything that is going on in the Company and its surroundings. Nothing escapes her radar and she sells her knowledge at a high price. And that is not all that she sells: since she has a low income she earns some extra money by selling cosmetics, perfumes, accessories and even lingerie to the company’s employees.
He is Etichetta Due´s mail man. Even if he is much younger than Juan, he becomes his best friend and confident after his crisis with Daniela and Eduardo. He is a smart young man who owes his nickname “Gato” to his ability to get out of every situation that owes his nickname. He is lucky with women, charming and seductive; he will always be a wise advisor, fun, and Juan´s unconditional ally. Juan recovers his sense of humor thanks to “Gato” and will make him his confident in his love story with Luisa.
